Film buffs got a treat in January as two very different film festivals came to town. British Council Nepal's British Film festival 15-19 January in Gopi Krishna Hall featured films like Joyeux Noel, Mistress of Spices, Nanny Mcphee, and Vera Drake. The Canadian film festival, organised by the Toronto International Film Festival Group, ran from 23-25 January at Kumari Hall in Kathmandu and included films like Saint Ralph, A Simple Curve, and La Neuvaine.
