Lazarous Soul wins
Lazarous Soul from Dharan won the Shockwave Battle Between the Bands competition, defeating 12 other groups and taking home a cash prize of Rs 16,000. Apart from being named Best Band, Lazarous Soul also won awards for Best Lyrics, Best Vocalist, Best Lead Guitarist, and Best Bassist. Over the last five years, the band has performed at various concerts in Dharan. The event was organised by the Nepal Family Planning Commission Sunsari. All the bands had to talk about the importance of sex and reproductive health.
