The album consists of two dohori tunes interpreted in a slightly modern approach. Both the songs, Barta Garai Diun and Kya Tension, have a catchy tune with a message in the text. The orchestration is a blend of various instruments, sarangi, sanai, flute, strings, and bass guitar, and vocals performed by good singers, which gives them a unique melo-rhythmic form. Rajan Raj Siwakoti must have worked hard to write socially-conscious lyrics for this easy listening album. Siwakoti's upcoming projects would work better if he concentrated on experimenting with more difficult dohori tunes which he calls Lok Teheri.

G major begins with Aai Yai Yai Ya, a song with remarkable vocal technique and harmony in the third. Yaad le timro has a melancholic melody and flute applications, while Ma ta jiundai chhu is a pentatonic tune except for its accompaniment, where some notes have been diverted. Ali ali kati has a groovy rhythm, Irish flavored sarangi, and pleasing flute. Kasto rahechha bato with a touch of neo-classical music, Nepali madal, good guitar techniques and African ensemble elements which, together with Nabin's voice make the song distinctive. Overall, G major is an album worth listening to, with Nabin's distinct and original style of making music and choosing lyrics. Nepali music lovers could expect more varied genres from Nabin who is a talented composer and performer.
