TURNING 12
Last month's issue was the coolest! Congrats on your 12th anniversary. I hope that you will someday celebrate your golden jubilee. Your section on electronics from Khasa was an eye opener.

Kudos to the entire WAVE family for the brilliant anniversary issue! It was the best ever issue I've ever laid my hands on. I loved all your articles, but I was especially enchanted by Lok Nepali's Yatralogue. Please, don't ever stop that feature. Happy 12th, WAVE! You da best! You will be da coolest teenager next year. Chill, peace.

I have been a regular reader of WAVE for the last five years. Last month's feature on 'Twelve years of Youth Culture' was informative. and interesting reading about the evolution of the youth culture from WAVE's point of view. WAVE has created waves among Nepali youth since its inception. You've come a long way! All the best for the future.

GOOD LOOKING
WAVE keeps getting better. How do you guys bring it out every month?! I find it tough to even finish homework. It's so boring to write essays, but so nice to read them! Your layout is something really great for a Nepali magazine. I live far away from Kathmandu, and we don't see many fancy things in our bazar. But I take a bus to buy WAVE. Please don't stop!

Hey, WAVE, congrats on your 12th. I was worried some time back because the mag was looking dull. Now it looks awesome! I show it to my cousins from Canada and they don't laugh, though they are real snobs who think only Western mags are good.

WAVE is amazing. I like to draw and paint and want to be an artist. But my mother mother scolded me saying 'how will you survive'. I showed her WAVE and said that I could do things like that as an artist. She might agree soon. Thank you!

Dear Saroj, Sworupa, and Niha: Many thanks for your kind words. We're glad you like WAVE's look. Our designer, Kiran Maharjan, works very hard to make every page look attractive and creative.
ADSPACE
The latest edition of WAVE was awesome. There was one boring thing, though, the numerous pages of advertisements. Of course I know that's what keeps WAVE running. Yatralogue this time was great. The multiple posters deserve praise. The Book Club is fine and Reader's Write was good. I do have some complaints. Puskar/Cycle dai should be allotted two pages of diary. I don't like Oasis. Most of the problems are related to what they call love. We need some more serious troubling question, not just 'I love her and she loves him'. That's all, keep going.

I've been reading WAVE since I was in grade 7. Now I'm doing my Bachelor's, and feel that WAVE is something I have grown up with. With every issue WAVE is getting better. The August issue was great. Although I was impressed by the number of pages, as I flipped through it, I saw lots of full page ads. C'mon guys cut it out. They look horrible. Puskar dai's page was nice, though. Best of luck for the next issue!

Dear Samip and Lawan: Thanks for your comments. Samip is right, without the ads our readers would have to bear a much larger part of the cost of the magazine.
AUGUST WAVE
The August issue was fabulous. Thanks for adding more content. Your 'Useless Gyan' is pretty useful for me, as my friends and I can talk about it. It was good to read about educational loans. Quiz Whiz was pretty cool too, I found out that I am a happy-go-lucky gal. Thanks! Couple you please publish a poster of Dibya Subba, and the lyrics of Shakira's 'Hips don't lie'. The rest is just perfect. Hats off to you guys.

The undercover article (Whiffs of Insanity) was a nice read! How do you guys manage to do it???

The last WAVE was mindblowing. If I were bored with the magazine, the last issue definitely refreshed me. Oasis was good too. Please put out a poster of Cod Band and Nima. Keep it up.

I am really proud of WAVE. I think there has been nothing to compare with it for the last two years. It is well-planned and touches on a lot of topics. Many thanks to the writers, and keep up the good work.

ONLINE
I've closely followed WAVE's spectacular journey from both home and abroad. Back home, when I was in the capital, I used to keep up with the times by flipping through the latest issue. Though I am in the States now, I occasionally go to WAVE's online portal and think of when I used to devour it until it was dog-eared. (Man those were the good times!) It still keeps me informed about the recent happenings back home. You guys rock! But seriously you need to update the site more regularly. Can you include an online forum in the site?

Dear Bilash: Thanks for being a loyal reader. We'll definitely consider a WAVE web forum.
LETTER OF THE MONTH
I think that WAVE is:
Wide
Able
Vital
Excellent
I like all of the contents inside WAVE. You have won my heart. I had written earlier requesting articles about IT. There were plenty in the August issue. Don't stop, please. Keep it up! I wanted to also congratulate you on your 12th anniversary, and thank the team that publishes WAVE.
