WHAT'S UP
Picture perfect
A five-day exhibition Nature through Lens 2 was organised by World Conservation Nepal to mark the World Environment Day 2006. The exhibition featured over 130 photographs by 58 participants of WCN Annual Nature and Wildlife Photography Competition for Amateurs. Om Prakash Yadav got first prize for a picture he had taken of cricket (see pic). The event was held at Nepal Art Council in Kathmandu from 5-9 June. During the exhibition, documentaries on conservation themes were also shown and a two-day photography basic training for beginners was conducted.
