Adversity brings out the best in us. For Mani Kafle, the April uprising brought out the poet inside. In Kirtipur, Mani spellbound masses with his impromptu performance. His success propelled him to bring out an anthology of poetry. Ever the radical, Mani has recently released his anthology in audio format. The album, produced by Music Nepal, is titled Ganatantra and was released in June by human rights activist Krishna Pahadi. Ganatantra contains Mani's best works, which were big hits at the Kirtipur protests. (Read Audio Review for more)
