Talent hunt in Hong Kong

Basanti Pun, 19, grabbed the Mega Model Award in Hong Kong out of 10 contestants who had participated in Miss Talent Hunt 2006, organised by Dreams Unlimited on 7 May. Basanti works at a bank and is also a part-time teacher. Sabrina Shrestha and Alina Ghale were declared first and second runners up respectively. Similarly, Miss Catwalk, Best Figure, and Miss Talent went to Jamuna Gurung, Tulsa Gurung, and Kristina Gurung. Amod Rai was felicitated as Youth of the Year for his contribution in graphics designing, animation, and web page designing. (Devraj Rai, Hong Kong)
