Talented and beautiful

A talent contest was organised for Dabur Vatika Miss Real Natural Talent on 28 August at Russian Cultural Centre. The nineteen contestants performed before five judges and an encouraging audience. Speeches, dances and more were performed. However, Cherie Sherchan and Mohini Rana had something else up their sleeves. Cherie performed a ballet dance and Mohini, a comic dance. Sugarika KC received a big round of applause for her very strong speech in Nepali on
Yo deshkomaato ma janmeko ma kina garbha nagarnay. Hema Shrestha played a soulful rendition of the Mangal Dhoon on her violin and Pratikshya Moktan rolled out some fantastic beats on her drum. Baby Subba did yoga and Shweta Khadka drew a modern art composition while the audience watched quietly. Manju Lama showed how to make a flower. The girls certainly had loads of talent and it will be quite a wait until the finals when the winner of this round, too, will be announced.
