The stage was heavily decorated and the sound system of 40,000 Watt set to blast when 24 famous artistes and bands trooped out one-by-one to belt out hit numbers at Sawan Charity Live Concert 2005. What more could the audience ask for. It was a treat they really enjoyed as their favourite singers and bands such as Nima Rumba, Jems Pradhan, Nirnaya da NSK, Dipesh Kishor Bhattarai, Saroj Datta, Preety Kaur, Mausami Gurung, Babu Bogati, Dhiraj Rai and more performed live on 13 August at Birendra International Convention Centre. The music varied from pop to hip-hop, rock to folk, metal to sentimental and more. It was no ordinary concert either as the money raised would contribute to the construction of an airport terminal in Manmaya Rai Airport, Khotang.
