Feel Like Making Love - Kid Rock Mis-Teeq: Scandalous In the year 2000, a female vocal group known as Mis-teeq took Britain by storm with their debut single, "Why?" Mis-Teeq had made their mark with a unique blend of R&B, garage, and rap and christened their style as "U.K. Urban." Members Alesha, Sabrina and Su-Elise are back with their single, Scandalous, taken from their forthcoming album Eye Candy, which sees the group in top form, mixing beats, orchestration and strong vocals. Plumb: Taken Born Tiffany Arbuckle, she's adopted the name Plumb for herself. The latest single to come from her is "Taken", a delicate and catchy pop tune that Plumb offers as a tribute to one of her husband Jeremy's ex-girlfriends who she credits to positive changes that were made in his character. "Nine months after Jeremy and I started dating," Plumb says, "she drowned while swimming in a river. She was just 19 or 20 years old. ...Had he not met her before me, I probably wouldn't have looked twice at him, so I was thankful for her for being the influence she was. Not many people write songs about their husband's ex-girlfriends, but Jeremy and I still hold her safe inside. It's all in that song..." Judas Priest: Heart of a Lion Judas Priest has reigned supreme for 30 years as the most influential and commercially successful pure heavy metal band. The legendary group is back to heat things up with their previously unreleased demo, Heart of a Lion. The single is featured on their recently released and highly anticipated Metalogy box set. The career-spanning 4-CD box set includes 65 tracks totaling more than five hours of music, including hits, rarities and much more! Wylde Bunch: Last Day of School This is highly interesting. From the band, to the song's title to their music. Four M.C.'s, four background singers, dancers, a drummer, piano, bass and guitar make up the act, and they go by the name of Wylde Bunch. Blending jazz, funk, R&B, and rap in a solid fist of sound that punches out the beats. The band's music takes the audience back to the frenetic R&B shows of the early 60's, while creating music firmly in the contemporary trip-hop style. All In The Way - Earth, Wind And Fire: The legendary rockers Earth, Wind and Fire are back on global airwaves with a new album - their first in 6 years, titled The Promise. Their first single off that album, All In The Way, reunites Earth, Wind & Fire with R&B singers, The Emotions, who also contributed vocals to the group's 1979 hit Boogie Wonderland and 1981's Let's Groove. Says Maurice White, the bands leader and producer, "Throughout the years, music has changed quite a bit. All we want to do is uplift people thorough music." Penny & Me - Hanson: Remember the Hanson brothers Isaac, Taylor and Zac from Oklahoma, USA? In the late '90s, the trio jump-started teen-pop with the oh-so-bubbly "MMMBop". Now, four years after their last studio effort, Hanson returns. From boys to men, the members are now all grown up. The same is true of Hanson's 2004 sound. "Penny & Me" is strummy, melodic pop-rock. Of course, one cannot help but wonder if the "Hanson" name will help or hurt today. It's a gem of a song in its own ways, and you should listen to it with open ears. Last thing on my mind - Ronan Keating feat. LeAnn Rimes: Ronan Keating was born in Dublin on March 3rd 1977. After various jobs he joined the auditions for the Irish equivalent of Take That. It was a success and Boyzone were born, with Ronan eventually on lead vocals. The group became a phenomenon and after an explosive six years on the road, the boys decided to take a break. Ronan pursued solo projects and from then on, Ronan didn't look back. He's teamed up with country-pop star LeAnn Rimes for this single Last Thing On My Mind. Sick & Tired - Anastacia: Anastacia Newkirk, better known as just Anastacia, is one of the school of rock belters that believes if it's worth singing, it's worth singing loudly, and her third album is a particularly gut-busting affair. It was recorded last year as a fight back from her breast-cancer diagnosis, and as such is a powerful I-don't-care reply to the disease. Apparent references pop up on the single Sick and Tired where she claims: "I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired." And she sounds it. Ch-Check It Out - The Beastie Boys: After a year of speculation, hip-hop heavyweights The Beastie Boys are out with their highly anticipated new album "To The 5 Boroughs". It is the Boys first album since 1998's Hello Nasty. As the name suggests, "To The 5 Boroughs" has many songs about the group's beloved hometown of New York City. Ch-check It Out is the first single off that very album. Overdrive - Katy Rose: Katy Rose is original, she writes lyrics that you really want to listen to, her voice has an infectious energy and her music is powerful - falling somewhere into rock/pop with the kind of edginess you get in what used to be new wave. You could make comparisons with artists like Liz Phar and Michelle Branch, yet Rose has her own unique quality. Her debut single Overdrive is taken from her forthcoming album Because I Can and is also featured in the movie Thirteen.
