Promise
Bijaya Gurung
Ekanta Baatoma is a well-composed soft rock song. It has originality and has been sung well. Second song is well arranged like the first. Mohani Bhaka is a light reggae/not impressive. Timro Maya features Reema Gurung. The duet is a bit of a drag. The second song in side B has better flow than the first perhaps because of the smooth progressive chords. The third song does not quite fit in with the rest of the album. It is a folk song. The closing song is heavy rock called Dabur composed by Santosh. The album lacks consistency but is worth a listen.

Parkhi Baschu
De Samanantar

Mayalu Timiley has a good strong beat but a weak melody. It passes off as a rock song. The second track is a folk song accompanied by a madal. The flutist is quite accomplished. Side A ends with a soft rock song that could have been sung better. Side B begins with a forgettable song. The second track is no better. Padhi Gaunki Nari is a much better effort. A good flowing melody makes it worth listening. This soft rock album closes with a punchy song called Priyasi Meri Priyasi. If sung with better technique, songs like this closing track are promising.
