My Heart Will Go On

I can see the moon, now that it's night
Wishing you'd be near to hold me tight
Let me drown into the depth of your eyes
& speak to you softly of my dear lies
of things I've never been able to say
because life had never gone my way
would you never feel that hurt
when I staggered out of life & alert
out in the distance there was no hand
to hold unto & I sank deeper in the sand
you were then away in search of a star
though my heart longed for you afar
you were the one who used to tell me so
it is only when together that feeling grows
and there in the distance you found
a different music, a different sound
perhaps she sung a better, perfect note
and you stepped on to the other boat
I could not but kept looking at you
What was meant to happen became true
I should not have had hidden my love
With foolish lies and shyness above
Anyways let me be me and my love born
I'll let you be you but my heart will go on.
