My Love, Stop, Green Card! | Audio

Even though this album has some songs with beautiful, realistic lyrics which might appeal to listeners, the application of instruments is commonplace and there is nothing extraordinary about the melody line of the songs. Khai Je Bhaiyepani is well sung and the folk-based Nahinda Na Yesari, a duet with Mamta Dipbim, is somewhat catchy. Uttam Rai has an original vocal tone with the potentiality to do much better with practice.

This album is a compilation of songs with clichéd ideas. Title track My Love has a tune similar to the song One Love by Blue. The lyrics, music arrangement and melody of the songs in this album do not have enough quality to contribute anything new to mainstream music and the vocals certainly need more practice. Rustic needs to put in a lot of real hard work, patience and devotion to create some authentic music.

Stop consists of songs written and composed by Sohan Manandhar. The vocals are performed by well-known artistes except Jowan Gayeni, which is sung by Sohan himself. Some numbers are of the type often heard in mainstream pop. Listeners might like folk-based Babai and Pani Kholako. Nischal Timro is well-arranged with a neoclassical touch in the guitar solo. This album proves that Sohan has the potential to write and compose songs better than the ones in Stop.
