Binayak and Iman Shah

Binayak Shah is a graduate from Music Institute, Guitar Institute of Technology and Recording Institute of Technology in America. He was previously the lead guitarist for the band Crossroads and later the ITS. He was also with the band Gahiro Tira in America.

Iman Shah, Binayak's elder cousin was once in a band called the Vegeterian Vampires here in the city. After he went to the US he was playing at the Club Circuit there with a band called In-Transit. He is a graduate in Audio Engineering from the Recording Connection in the U.S. He is also the man behind Dhristy, an experimental heavy metal album, where he played all the instruments (except for the maadal and congo). He is currently the recordist and proprietor of Sacred Soundz in Lainchour.

They are both involved with the new band X-IT. X-it is an all-star cast also featuring Ashish Sinha (from the band Shristi), Daniel Karthak (from Rock Yogis, and previously Prism) and they have recently released their first single Ashai Ashma.

1. If you could possess one OBJECT (instrument, house, car…) owned by any famous personality, what would it be?
Binayak Shah: Pamela Anderson (Tommy Lee's wife)
Iman Shah: Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow

2. If you could go back to your school days, which class would you want to go back to? Or would you want to go back at all? And Why?
Binayak Shah: No, I wouldn't go back at all. I was very innocent when in school. Used to get bullied a lot.
Iman Shah: I don't want to go through that nightmare again.

3. Imagine you win a lottery for $1 million (Rs. 74 Crores). What are the 3 things you would do firstly?
Binayak Shah: Get myself a Lamborghini, a Ducati and a bottle of Jack Daniels. I already have 2 cars in my garage-I plan to get some more.
Iman Shah: Insurance on my fingers, ears and life.

4. If you could change one thing in the country right now, what would you change?
Binayak Shah: Nothing
Iman Shah: Rat tat tat tat tat!
