THE WORLD OF MY LOVE

The space my love dwells in
Is not very big,
The space that my love dwells in -
A line of vermilion
On my parted hair
And the necklace you gave me.
The source of my happiness
Is not very far,
My happiness sparkles and glints
In your smile.

Never, even as a joke,
Deny you care for me, my dear.
This is a human heart,
It is fragile, it might splinter.
My heart is brittle
When it comes to your love.
All that holds it together
Is your belief and mine.

Do not search for options,
Not even in sleep.
The heart is not humble,
It might turn unfeeling.
Do not weigh its worth, my love,
Sleep well come swiftly,
Life is not long.
Our days may soon
Be ending.
